Other Songs Sung in Michigan
The following list is composed of the titles of songs which were collected in Michigan but which are not reprinted in the present volume. The name of the song is given first, followed by the source or sources, either the informant's name or thd name of the manuscript, and then by references to similar texts if known Informants' addresses missing here may be found in the List of Informants, pp 485-490.
With a few exceptions copies of these songs are included in the Gardner and Chickenng manuscript, "Ballads and Songs of Southern Michigan," which has been deposited in the rare-book room of the University of Michigan Library.
